How long does it take to set up my chatbot?
Most chatbots are live within 5–10 business days. Will it sound robotic to my customers?

What languages does the chatbot support?
English is standard on all plans. Our Standard and Voice plans support multiple South African languages including Zulu, Afrikaans, Sotho, and Xhosa. The chatbot can automatically detect the language the customer is writing in and respond accordingly — no setup needed per conversation.
What happens when the chatbot can't answer a question?
It escalates gracefully. Depending on your preference, the chatbot will either collect the customer's details and promise a callback, hand the conversation off to your WhatsApp, or send a notification to your team. No customer ever hits a dead end. You set the rules for what triggers escalation during onboarding.
Can the chatbot book appointments into my calendar?
Yes. We integrate with Calendly, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and most booking systems. The chatbot can show real-time availability, let the customer pick a slot, collect their details, and send a confirmation — all without any staff involvement. You just show up to the appointment.
Which platforms can the chatbot run on?
Your chatbot can be deployed on your website (as a floating widget), WhatsApp Business API, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram DMs. Most clients start with website + WhatsApp, which covers the majority of South African customer contact channels. Additional channels can be added at any time.
Is my customers' data safe and POPIA-compliant?
Yes. All data collected by the chatbot is handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We configure chatbots to collect only the minimum data needed, use encrypted channels, and never share customer data with third parties. You retain full ownership of all conversation data.
Do I need technical knowledge to manage the chatbot after it's set up?
No. Once it's live, the chatbot runs itself. If you want to update pricing, add new FAQs, or change how it responds, you simply send us the updates and we handle it (included in your monthly plan). There's no dashboard you need to learn unless you want access to one.
What is the difference between the Basic and Standard plans?
The Basic plan (R350/month) covers English-only FAQ responses and basic lead capture — ideal for simple brochure sites. The Standard plan (R1,200/month) adds multi-language support, CRM integration, appointment booking, and more complex conversation flows. The Voice Assistant plan (R1,400+/month) adds a voice interface for phone/voice channel support.
Is there a setup fee?
Yes — there is a once-off setup fee of R1,500 which covers chatbot training, platform integration, conversation flow design, testing, and your handover session. The monthly fee begins from month 2 onwards. There are no hidden costs beyond the setup fee and your chosen monthly plan.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Our chatbot plans are month-to-month after the first 3 months. We ask for 3 months minimum so we have enough time to optimise performance and deliver real results. After that, you can cancel with 30 days' written notice. You keep all conversation history and any integrations we built.
